What to Expect: Interim Superintendent Segura will be led through a discussion of questions that are submitted in advance through the .
The public may submit their questions in advance and also rate the questions of others.
- The first public forum will take place virtually on 6 p.m. on Jan. 18 on .
- An in-person and option will be noon Jan. 20 at General Marshall Middle School.
Both meetings will be in English with Spanish interpretation.
Background: The ¼öƬapp Board of Trustees chose Matias Segura as the lone finalist for ¼öƬapp's superintendent position. The decision was made unanimously during the December 14 meeting. Segura has worked for the district since 2018, serving as chief of operations and leading the implementation of the $1.05 billion 2017 bond. Segura's ties to ¼öƬapp run deep—He is a graduate of ¼öƬapp, the son of a long-time ¼öƬapp teacher and the father of two ¼öƬapp students.
