Austin, TX— The ¼öƬapp School District (AISD) is pleased to partner with Family Life International Fellowship to host "Family Symposium" on Saturday, November 12 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Greater Calvary Bible Church. The event is aimed at helping children succeed in school and prepare for college. ¼öƬapp Board of Trustee member Cheryl Bradley and Superintendent Meria Carstarphen will speak briefly at the event. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Arlene Ackerman, a former superintendent from Philadelphia Public Schools who created "Parent University."
