Speak Out Scotties: Lamar Students Hold Outdoor Concert for Peace

Lamar Middle School students are holding Speak Out Scotties, an outdoor concert for peace.
 
What: Working together, students and faculty organized this event as an example of how to peacefully advocate for significant change in our modern world.
 
Student letters to lawmakers are on display as part of the event, as well as posters featuring important acts throughout history that have been a catalyst for change.
 
When: 2:20-3:30 p.m. Friday, March 23

Performances will be followed with the Scottie Challenge, a challenge to students to set goals to accomplish their goals.
