2022 Disparity Study
The ¼öƬapp School District conducted a Disparity Study of its Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) program in partnership with to ensure that minority and women-owned businesses have equal access to contracting opportunities and that the District’s current program remains legally defensible and administratively successful. The study examined the policies, procedures, and participation trends of MBE, WBE, and HUB firms in contracting and procurement activities over the last five fiscal years. The study reviewed purchasing practices in areas such as construction and consulting services.

2015 Disparity Study
¼öƬapp participated with the city of Austin and Travis County in a disparity study regarding Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB). The study examined the policies, procedures, and participation trends of MBE, WBE, DBE and HUB firms in contracting and procurement activities over the last five fiscal years. The study reviewed purchasing practices in areas such as construction and consulting services. The purpose of the study was to understand the experiences of business owners when you attempt to do business with the school district. The study was accepted by the board of trustees on February 29, 2016.
